Transitional Services, Inc., or TSI, was established in 1971 to provide opportunities in community living for persons with severe mental illness. That mission continues, with residents working toward their rehabilitation goals in a therapeutic living environment. TSI residents can choose from a variety of community-based settings, all designed to enhance confidence and promote independence.

The hallmark of TSI is the comfortable, homelike accommodations for all residents. Whether residing in a group home, a supervised apartment, or scattered-site community apartment, more than 450 residents are in the process of attaining the skills necessary for independent living. Staff provide individual assessment, rehabilitation services, case management and supportive counseling to each unique individual.
